作者在论证语篇中动态地建构不同的语用身份，在不同语篇结构中进行身份转换。论证语篇中，包括论点、论据和论证的论证结构是处于前景的核心部分，叙事语段和劝告语段作为语篇背景，起辅助论证的作用。作者在论证语段中建构议论者的语用身份，在叙事语段中建构叙事者的语用身份，在劝告语段中建构劝告者的语用身份。对应于论证语段、叙事语段和劝告语段在论证语篇中的前景—背景地位，议论者身份最为突显，其次是叙事者，最后是劝告者。

In argumentative discourse, the core part that lies in the foreground is the argumentative structure that includes arguments, evidence, and argumentation. There are also narrative segments and exhortative segments as discourse background that support arguments. The author constructs the pragmatic identity of the arguer in the argumentative segments, the narrator in the narrative segments, and the exhorter in the exhortative segments. Corresponding to the foreground-background status of argumentative segments, narrative segments and exhortative segments in argumentative discourse, the arguer identity is most prominent, followed by the narrator, and finally the exhorter.
